PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for punching, by which die, whether or not the height of the cutting edge of the die has reached to a resharpening limit height can be easily confirmed.;SOLUTION: The die 5 provided in a lower die 3 has a punch inserting bore 10 opened at the upper surface 5a, a cutting edge 11, and a removing bore 14 which is communicated with the punch inserting bore 10 and removes the punched scrap. A recessed portion 16 is formed on the upper surface 5a of the die 5. A datum plane 17 is formed on the depths of the recessed portion 16 so as to be observed by eyes from above. The datum plane 17 is parallel with the upper surface 5a of the die 5. The height H from the datum plane 17 to the upper surface 5a of the die 5 is set to be the same as the height C1 of the cutting edge 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
