PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and compact reciprocating sander with good working efficiency.;SOLUTION: There are provided: a gear casing 8 housing a gear mechanism; and a reciprocating conversion mechanism casing 9 housing a mechanism for conversion to a reciprocating movement, and the reciprocating conversion mechanism casing vertically split into two from the center is used. A reciprocating plate 20 is housed and sandwiched by the two-split reciprocating conversion mechanism casing, and an outlet 23 of the gear casing is jointed with an inlet 12 of the reciprocating conversion mechanism casing at the same time of sandwiching.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
