PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reforming system with which hydrogen can be produced from a heavy hydrocarbon containing fuel in a high yield even at a low temperature and the precipitation of coke by a reforming reaction can be suppressed. PSOLUTION: The fuel reforming system is equipped with a fuel reforming part 10, a fuel supply device 20 for supplying a hydrocarbon fuel to the fuel reforming part 10, and an oxidant supply device 30 for supplying an oxidant to the fuel reforming part 10. The fuel supply device 20 has a light hydrocarbon separation part 21 for separating light hydrocarbons from a diesel fuel, a diesel fuel housing part 22 for supplying the diesel fuel to the light hydrocarbon separation part 21 through a diesel fuel supply passage 23, and a light hydrocarbon supply passage 25 for supplying the light hydrocarbons separated by the light hydrocarbon separation part 21 to the fuel reforming part 10.
