PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect at an early stage a possibility of the intrusion of water from a vapor well or the intrusion of water into a steam turbine caused by a malfunction of a steam separator, and to take measures such as halts of the steam turbine for safety.;SOLUTION: The geothermal electric power generating equipment is provided with the steam separator 1, the steam turbine 4, a generator 5, a temperature detector 6, a pressure detector 6, an electric power generation detector 40, and a judgement means 7. The steam turbine 4 is driven by the vapor separated by the steam separator 1, and the generator 5 is driven by the steam turbine 4. Then the temperature detector 6 detects the temperature of the vapor supplied to the steam turbine 4, and the pressure detector 6 detects the pressure of the vapor supplied to the steam turbine 4. The electric power generation detector 40 detects the output of the generator, and the judgement means 7 judges whether or not the condition of the vapor supplied to the steam turbine 4 is appropriate from the output of the temperature detector, the output of the pressure detector and the output of the electric power generation detector.
