METHOD FOR DIAGNOSIS OF SCLERODERMA, DIAGNOSTIC AGENT FOR SCLERODERMA AND SCLERODERMA DIAGNOSIS MARKER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the highly reliable diagnosis of scleroderma, a diagnostic agent for the method and a scleroderma diagnosis marker.;SOLUTION: The method for the diagnosis of scleroderma contains detection of a scleroderma-specific peptide fragment having a specific sequence in a specimen. The peptide fragment is preferably a fragment of complement C3f, especially a fragment of C3f group devoid of an arginine residue at a specific position, a fragment of complement C4 having a methylated amino acid residue or a fragment of apolipoprotein J, more preferably either one of amino acid sequences having a plurality of specific sequences. A detection reagent for detecting the peptide fragment can be used as a main component of a diagnostic agent for scleroderma and a scleroderma diagnosis marker.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
