PSOLUTION: This lubricant for the aluminum alloy plate material is characterized by using 1 kind selected from mineral oil or synthetic oil as base oil and containing 10 to 50 mass% 1 kind selected from monoesters expressed by general formula (1) [wherein, any of RSB1/SB, RSB2/SBis a linear hydrocarbon chain having 13 carbon number, wherein, RSB1/SBhas 21 carbon number and RSB2/SBhas 18 carbon number, and another one of the RSB1/SB, RSB2/SBis a linear hydrocarbon having 1 carbon number wherein RSB1/SBhas 7 carbon number and RSB2/SBhas 8 carbon number, or a branched hydrocarbon chain having 3 carbon number, wherein RSB1/SBhas 17 carbon number and RSB2/SBhas 18 carbon number] and 5-40 mass% 1 kind selected from a 11-17C oxoalcohol.
