PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment of a portable air conditioner and the portable air conditioner preventing involving of air containing external suspended matter, preventing a user from inhaling it, giving the user neither an oppression feeling nor a smothering feeling, and not disturbing conversation or eating when in use.;SOLUTION: This portable air conditioner 1 comprises an air cleaner 10 carried by being suspended from the neck or attached to a belt, and the attachment 20 worn on the face of the user and allowing the user to inhale the air cleaned by the air cleaner 10. An air pipe of the attachment 20 is formed to traverse the face from one cheek side to the other cheek side and cover the lower part of the nose including the nostrils, pass the cleaned air in the lower part of the nostrils in the direction of being approximately orthogonal to the bridge of the nose and, when the user breathes through the nose, he/she can inhale the cleaned air alone without involving the air with suspended matters.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
