PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a natural ground reinforcing pipe for use in constructing a tunnel which achieves the favorable transmission of boring power, a boring impact, etc. in an axial direction during boring in order to insert the natural ground reinforcing pipe in the ground, for instance, and facilitates the cutting and removal thereof when it needs to be cut and removed during the excavation of the tunnel, and to provide a tunnel construction method using the natural ground reinforcing pipe.;SOLUTION: The natural ground reinforcing pipe 1 for constructing the tunnel is driven to the natural ground in front of the working face of the tunnel in a process of constructing the tunnel, to reinforce the natural ground, and has a plurality of breakage introducing through holes 2 at locations longitudinally separated at a predetermined pitches and circumferentially separated at predetermined intervals at each of the longitudinally separate locations. Further according to the tunnel construction method, the natural ground is reinforced by using the natural ground reinforcing pipes, and when the tunnel is excavated, the natural ground reinforcing pipes 1 are broken along the breakage introducing through holes 2 by an excavator or the like, and then removed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
