PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test item selection method capable of previously selecting optimum test items according to the ability of a test examinee, a system, a program, and a storage medium.;SOLUTION: The method includes a test item server 1 for storing a number of the test items, and a test item selection 2 for selecting a plurality of the test items from the test item server 1. The test item selection 2 includes an ability setting section 21 for setting an ability parameter (θj) of each examinee j, a correct answer probability calculation section 22 for determining a correct answer probability Pi(θ, j) for each examinee (j) based on the item parameter and the ability parameter (θj) relating to each test item (i) stored in the test item server 1, a test information amount integration section 23 for determining a test information amount Ii(θ, j) of each test item (i) for each examinee (j) based on the correct answer probability Pi(θj) and integrating the same by each of the test items (i), and a test item extraction section 24 for extracting the test items of higher order in the integration value of the test information amount.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
