PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-irradiating rearing apparatus which can prevent rise in temperature, even when irradiated with visible light, and with which the effects of the visible light can be confirmed, and to provide a light-irradiating rearing test method.;SOLUTION: This light-irradiating rearing apparatus 1 of the present invention is characterized by having a rearing space 10 in which one or more animals can be reared, and a light source 11 which can irradiate the rearing space 10 and emits light containing visible light, wherein a cooling fluid flows close to the light source 11, can remove heat generated at the light source 11, and can release the heat outside to cool the light source 11.
