DETECTION METHOD AND DETECTOR OF ABNORMAL INDICATED VALUE IN RADIATION THERMOMETER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting an abnormal indicated value in a radiation thermometer by utilizing a thermometer and control facilities that an existing direct fire type continuous heating furnace has, and to provide a detector of an abnormal indicated value in the radiation thermometer.;SOLUTION: In the detection method of an abnormal indicated value of the radiation thermometer that is installed at the exit side of a heating zone, and the heating zone of the direct fire type continuous annealing furnace having a uniform heating zone continuous to the heating zone and measures the temperature of a material to be heated, a temperature difference ΔTg between the temperature indicated value of a thermocouple installed in the uniform heating zone and the target temperature in the uniform heating zone is obtained while control is made so that the temperature indicated value of the radiation thermometer installed at the exit side of the heating zone coincides with the target heating temperature of a material to be heated. When the temperature difference ΔTg exceeds a threshold, it is determined that the indicated value of the radiation thermometer is abnormal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
