PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic matter fining apparatus in which clogging of a through-hole in an impingement section or of a filter is eliminated resulting in continuous operation. PSOLUTION: The organic matter fining apparatus is equipped with: a crushing apparatus 16 for fining the organic matter by jetting the organic matter from a small-diameter nozzle under a high pressure or at high velocity; a high-pressure pump 15 for supplying a high-pressure liquid to the crushing apparatus, pre-filter apparatus 13a, 13b connected to a suction port of the high-pressure pump, each having a transmission hole of a size equal to or below the small-diameter nozzle of the crushing apparatus and having a backwashing mechanism; and a filter apparatus 11 in a water tank connected to the upstream side of the pre-filter apparatuses and having a transmission hole of a size equal to or above the transmission holes of the pre-filter apparatuses.
