PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium sheet which is coated with a protective film and is excellent in resistance to high-temperature salt damage, and also to provide a method of manufacturing the same and an automotive exhaust system using the same.;SOLUTION: The titanium sheet has the protective film formed on its surface. The protective film has a thickness of 1-100 μm and comprises 20 to 60% of metallic Al dispersed in the film in the shape of a flake with an average thickness of 0.1-5 μm and an average width or average length of 1-50 μm or a particle with an average particle diameter of 0.1-30 μm, 15-55% Si, 10-45% C and the balance being unavoidable impurities. A base titanium sheet contains 0.5-2.1% Cu and/or 0.4-2.5% Al. In the method, the protective film is formed on the titanium sheet by brush-coating or spray-coating and subsequently heating at 150-300°C for 5-60 min.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
