PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure damping force when a magnetic field impressing means is lacked in a damping force-variable damper and a vehicle equipped with the damper using a magnetic fluid or a magnetic viscous fluid.;SOLUTION: A magnet holder 41 having an opening upper part is fixed by spot welding or the like to an outer peripheral surface of a cylinder tube 12, and a magnet plate 42 stored in an on-vehicle tool box is held by this magnet holder 41. The magnet plate 42 presents a circular arc-shaped cross section to be brought into pressure contact with the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder tube 12, and has the length over the whole movable range of a piston 16 in the cylinder tube 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
