PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antigen specifically combining with an antibody against Brucella canis, to provide latex beads to which the antigen is adhered, to provide a method for diagnosing the Brucella canis, using the antigen adhesion latex beads, and to provide a kit for diagnosing the same.;SOLUTION: A method for producing the antigen specifically combining with the antibody against the Brucella canis comprises culturing the Brucella canis, extracting the antigen from the cultured Brucella canis, and collecting a soluble fraction contained in the extract. The antigen adhesion latex beads are given by adhering the antigen to the latex beads. The method for diagnosing infection with the Brucella canis comprises mixing the antigen adhesion latex beads with test blood serum and observing an aggregation image.
