PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent polyester film for vapor deposition which stably imparts and extremely improves gas barrier properties and dampproofness with a thin deposition film and a transparent vapor deposition film.;SOLUTION: The transparent polyester film for vapor deposition and the transparent vapor deposition film have a surface roughness (SRa) at the center line on the deposition side surface of a base material film provided with a layered membrane of 2-80 nm, a number of peaks (SPc) of 5-130/0.1 mm², and a melt subpeak of the film of 190-240°C, the deposition side layered membrane including a water-dispersive polyester resin having a glass transition temperature of 10-40°C and a melamine cross-linking agent, and having a thickness of 5-100 μm, the water-dispersive polyester resin having a carboxylic acid and/or its salt on a side chain thereof.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
