PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis method of a plurality of kinds of volatile organic matters having different boiling points, and a purification method of a storage chamber for a museum. PSOLUTION: This analysis method is characterized as follows: an adsorbent (excluding a graphite carbon-based adsorbent) having excellent adsorbability of a volatile organic matter having a boiling point of 120°C or higher as an adsorbent on the upstream side and a graphite carbon-based adsorbent as an adsorbent on the downstream side are filled in one collection tube as much as 1g or less as a total amount, or otherwise each adsorbent is filled in each different collection tube as much as 1g or less respectively; sample gas including the volatile organic matters is allowed to pass through each collection tube filled with the adsorbent; the volatile organic matter having the boiling point of 120°C or higher is adsorbed by the adsorbent on the upstream side, and the volatile organic matter having the boiling point below 120°C is adsorbed at least by the graphite carbon-based adsorbent on the downstream side; and then the volatile organic matters adsorbed by the adsorbents are heated, desorbed, and subjected to qualitative/quantitative analysis.
