PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyvinyl alcohol-based film for optical use, free from bleeding out of a plasticizer, and providing an oriented film the optical strain of which is reduced when the film is subjected to orientation while swelling.;SOLUTION: The polyvinyl alcohol-based film for the optical use comprises a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin composition containing a plasticizer.
