PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an X-ray charge collection amount in a photoconduction layer which consists of Bi12MO20.;SOLUTION: The photoconduction layer (32) constituting a radiation image pickup panel recording radiation picture information as an electrostatic latent image is formed of Bi12MO20 (M is at least one type in Ge, Si and Ti).
