PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional thermal head printer needs the increased number of cooling times of the thermal head, resulting in the non-coincidence between the predicted total print time predicted on the basis of a print condition and an actual total print time.;SOLUTION: The total print time prediction device is mounted with (a) an actual print time prediction function for predicting the actual print time on the basis of a print condition, (b) a cooling time prediction function for predicting the cooling time required for cooling the thermal head down to a proper temperature, and (c) a total print time prediction function for predicting the total value of the actual print time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
