WATER QUALITY CONTROL METHOD OF CIRCULATING WATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water quality control method of circulating water which controls a change of water quality, such as pH, by inhibiting microorganism propagation and formation of a microorganism film (a biofilm or slime) in a circulating water system over a long time without water contamination concerns, and inhibiting oxygen, hydrogen gas and the like electrochemically generated from the surface of an electrode during control.;SOLUTION: This method controls water quality by applying current across two conductive base material groups each consisting of at least one sheet of a conductive base material to control the propagation of aquatic organisms existing in the vicinity of the surfaces of the conductive base materials composing one conductive base material group A5 by direct/indirect contact on the surfaces of the conductive base materials, and to adsorb/decompose/denature organic/inorganic substances on the surfaces of the conductive base materials composing the other conductive base material group B6. The conductive base materials are distributed to the conductive base material groups so that a ratio of the area of the conductive base materials composing the conductive base material group A5 to that of the conductive base materials composing the conductive base material group B6 is always ≥3 at least when the current is applied.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
