PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retarder for polyester synthetic fiber that includes polyphosphate compound having good storage stability, can give stable and durable flame retardancy as well as causes no adverse effect on the dye-affinity of dye agents.;SOLUTION: The flame retarder for polyester synthetic fiber comprises following (A)-(C), the content ratio of (A)-(C) is (A) 60-80 %, (B) 10-30 % and (C) 5-5 % based on the total weight of (A)-(C) wherein (A) is the condensate of phosphoryl trichloride, phenol and resorcinol, (B) is a surfactant comprising polycyclic phenols (the ring number is 4 to 20) alkylene oxide adduct (B1) and a polycyclic phenols (the ring number is 4 to 20) alkylene oxide adduct sulfate ester salt (B2), (C) a specific aliphatic alcohol alkyleneoxide adduct having an HLB of 9 to 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
