PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing an olefinic polymer which can withdraw a massive product together with an olefinic polymer powder with high efficiency.;SOLUTION: The process for producing an olefinic polymer comprising the following steps is provided. Step 1: the process for polymerizing an olefin and producing the olefinic polymer powder in a fluidized bed reactor for gas phase polymerization having at least one drawing-out piping having a valve as a withdrawing means for the olefinic polymer powder within every zone of: a zone from a gas distribution plate to a height L1 satisfying L10.1×D; and another zone from a height L2 satisfying L2=0.1×D to a powder level height of a fluidized bed. Step 2: the process for withdrawing the produced olefinic polymer powder from the withdrawing piping having the valve of the withdrawing means in a zone from a polymerizing reactor to the valve, or in a zone in which a residence time, t (sec), of the olefinic polymer powder inside the valve satisfies t (sec)≤50×ττ is a mean residence time (hr) of the polymer powder in the fluidized bed reactor and for producing an olefinic polymer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
