COLORED COMPOSITION FOR CORRECTING GREEN COLOR FILTER, AND COLOR FILTER CORRECTED BY USING THE COMPOSITION

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a level difference between a filter segment portion and a corrected portion when a portion to be corrected is coated with a composition to reproduce the hue of the color filter upon correcting a green filter segment. PSOLUTION: The colored composition for correcting the green color filter contains a dye carrier composed of a transparent resin, its precursor or their mixture, a green dye, a yellow dye and an organic solvent. In the composition, when a coating film having a minimum transmittance of 1% at 400 to 700 nm is formed from the green colored composition, the transmittance of the coating film at a wavelength in 500 to 600 nm is lower than the transmittance of the green color filter to be corrected, and that a half width B of the transmittance of the coating film is 80% to 90% of the half width A of the transmittance of the green color filter to be corrected. The color filter has a green filter segment on a substrate, in which a defective portion of the filter segment is corrected by using the colored composition. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
