PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for estimating the quality of inflow sewage, namely, estimating the concentration of an organic acid in inflow sewage, a nutritional source addition unit in an advanced sewage treatment system for controlling the amount of a nutritional source by using the concentration of the organic acid in inflow sewage and the advanced sewage treatment system.;SOLUTION: The method for estimating the quality of inflow sewage comprises: a sludge concentrating step of denitrifying final waste sludge to obtain concentrated sludge; an anaerobic treatment step of preparing first to third sampling vessels each having predetermined volume, putting a nutriment and the obtained concentrated sludge in the second sampling vessel, putting a sample to be measured and the obtained concentrated sludge in the third sampling vessel, putting the concentrated sludge obtained at the sludge concentrating step in the first sampling vessel and subjecting the content of each of the sampling vessels to anaerobic treatment; a measurement step of measuring the concentration of phosphorus in the filtrate obtained by filtering the content of each of the sampling vessels after a predetermined time passes after the anaerobic treatment step is completed; and an arithmetic processing step of arithmetically processing the obtained phosphorus concentrations to calculate the concentration of PRA (phosphorus accumulating organism-reactive organic acids).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
