FIXATION PROMOTING COMPOSITION FOR INK-JET PRINTING COMPRISING FLUORESCENT AGENT, INK-JET PRINTING SET AND METHOD FOR INK-JET PRINTING

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation promoting composition for ink-jet printing comprising a fluorescent agent, to provide an ink-jet printing set and to provide a method for ink-jet printing. PSOLUTION: The fixation promoting composition comprises the fluorescent agent excited in an ultraviolet light region and emitting light in a visible light region, an alkaline agent, a humectant and water. The fixation promoting composition is characterized in that the composition can be jetted from a printer head for ink-jet recording. The ink-jet printing set comprises a combination of the fixation promoting composition with a non-alkaline pre-treating liquid and an ink composition for ink-jet printing. The method for ink-jet printing is carried out as follows. The whole fabric is treated with the non-alkaline pre-treating liquid and the fixation promoting composition and the ink composition for ink-jet printing are subsequently jetted from the printer head for ink-jet recording onto an image region in an optional order. The method for ink-jet printing comprises a step of irradiating the fixation promoting composition with ultraviolet light after jetting thereof and examining jetting properties of the fixation promoting composition from the pattern of the light-emitting fluorescent agent.
