PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device repairing method which does not damage the airtightness of an opening section even if an existing opening/closing device in which the overall body of an opening/closing body means is formed of a rigid member, is changed to an opening/closing device of a composite structure consisting of a rigid closing portion and a soft closing portion, by repairing work, and to provide the opening/closing device repaired by the method.;SOLUTION: According to the method when a closing-side tip of the opening/closing means, formed of the rigid closing portion is replaced by the soft closing portion, the closing-side tip of the rigid closing portion is removed by a length corresponding to the soft closing portion, and the soft closing portion is attached to a removed location. The soft closing portion has a smaller thickness than that of the rigid closing portion, and therefore there is a risk of damaging the airtightness between the soft closing portion after the replacement and a guide means. To eliminate the risk, a width narrowing member for narrowing the width of an insertion port into which the guide means is inserted, is attached so that the airtightness between the soft closing portion having the smaller width and the guide means is sufficiently ensured. Thus the problem of the airtightness caused by the difference in physical shape between the rigid closing portion and the soft closing portion after the repair, is overcome.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
