PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular instrument drive controller, a vehicular instrumentation unit, and a vehicular instrument drive controlling method capable of eliminating an increase in the man-hours for setting and a complication of the setting procedure by making unnecessary different sorts of setting when any desired instrument is to be installed among various instruments.;SOLUTION: Configuration according to the invention comprises a connecting means 34 with which various instruments 20 indicating the vehicle condition are connected, a control program memory means 33a to store a plurality of control programs provided as mating with the various instruments 20 for controlling the drive of the instruments 20 in accordance with the vehicle condition, an instrument identification information take-in means 31a to take in the instrument identification information for identify the instrument 20 from the instrument 20 connected with the connecting means 34, a selecting means 31b to select the control program corresponding to the instrument identification information taken in by the take-in means 31a from the control program memory means 33a, and a drive controlling means 31c to control the drive of the instrument 20 connected with the connecting means 34 in accordance with the vehicle condition on the basis of the control program selected by the selecting means 31b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
