PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system capable of carrying out charging with high safety and high security.;SOLUTION: The power supply system supplies power from a supply side terminal device to a receiving side terminal device, wherein the supply side terminal device includes: a charging state detection section 13 for detecting a charging state of its own terminal; a charging information transmission reception section 11 for receiving information associated with charging control of an opposite terminal; and a charging control section 12 for properly executing power transmission to the opposite terminal, and the receiving side terminal device includes: a charging state detection section 13 for detecting a charging state of its own terminal; a charging information transmission reception section 11 for transmitting information associated with charging control of its own terminal; and a charging control section 12 for properly executing charging to its own terminal.
