PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for automatic measurement of a foreign substance in an injection liquid drug by Raman spectrometry and a device therefor, capable of detecting automatically a foreign substance in the injection liquid drug, and identifying precisely the foreign substance in an environment having no disturbance factor.;SOLUTION: The injection liquid drug is injected into an inspection chip placed under a stage of a microscopic Raman spectrometer, and a liquid drug storage part of the inspection chip is mapped by a low-power objective lens, to thereby photograph an image. The photographed image is subjected to binarization processing by a computer, and a two-dimensional coordinate of the center of gravity of the foreign substance is recorded. The objective lens in the microscopic Raman spectrometer is switched to a high-power objective lens, and the stage is moved to a coordinate position where the foreign substance exists, and a spectrum of the foreign substance is acquired by the Raman spectrometry, and the spectrum is compared with a library stored in the computer, to thereby specify the material name of the foreign substance.
