PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide steel for plastic molding which has excellent corrosion resistance, wear resistance and toughness required for parts, a mold or the like used for an injection molding machine and an extrusion molding machine utilized for plastic molding, and to provide molded parts.;SOLUTION: The steel for plastic molding having excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance has a composition comprising 1.0 to 1.8% C, 0.1 to 1.0% Si, 0.1 to 1.0% Mn, 6.0 to 9.0% Cr, 2.0 to 6.0% Mo and 2.7 to 4.0% V, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and has a high hardness of ≥64 HRC by high temperature tempering.
