PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically design an automatic tensioner for giving tension to a drive belt. An operating unit 32 specifies a loading quantity required to drive the auxiliary machine disposed in the drawing area as the drawing data by searching an auxiliary machine database 41 in which information on the loading quantity required to drive the auxiliary machine is described, and computes the tension to be given to the drive belt based on this specified loading quantity. Moreover, the operating unit 32 extracts a candidate of the automatic tensioner which can give the computed tension to the drive belt by searching an auxiliary machine components database 42 in which information on the automatic tensioner of a different type is described.
