PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an SN ratio during reception in a transceiver for selectively transmitting a modulated wave and a non-modulated wave to the outside and for receiving a response signal from the outside.;SOLUTION: The transceiver 10 selectively transmits the modulated wave and the non-modulated wave to the outside and receives the response signal from the outside. The transceiver 10 includes an oscillator 14 for generating a prescribed carrier wave, a modulator 12 for generating the modulated wave by modulating the carrier wave generated by the oscillator 14 with a transmission baseband signal, a power amplifier 13 for amplifying the modulated wave modulated by the modulator 12 or the non-modulated wave not modulated by the modulator, and a circulator 15 for transmitting output of the power amplifier 13 to an antenna 16. When transmitting the non-modulated wave from the antenna 16, switches 22a, 22b are switched to a bypass circuit 23 side so as to directly connect the oscillator 12 with the power amplifier 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
