PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for controlling the temperature of a microwave-used thermally catalytic reaction to be constant while always keeping a microwave in a resonated state in a hollow resonator regardless of the action of a substance in a hollow of the hollow resonator.;SOLUTION: The energy saving and efficiency improvement of a microwave-used thermally catalytic reaction apparatus are attained by detecting a change of the resonance frequency of the hollow resonator from a traveling wave or a reflected wave in a reaction part and continuously controlling the hollow volume of the hollow resonator and the oscillation frequency of the microwave to always keep the microwave in a resonated state in the hollow.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
