PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide "a peripheral situation presentation device mounted in a vehicle" which efficiently presents situations around the vehicle while suppressing the formation of a dead angle.;SOLUTION: In the case that a bus 402, a vehicle 403, and a motorcycle 404 are present at the rear of an own vehicle 401 provided with a rear camera 2 for photographing the rear at an angle of view 411 (a), an image (c2) photographed by the rear camera 2 is extracted as an effective rear image for an area 421(b) excluding a dead angle area caused by the bus 402 from a rear camera photographic area, and an image (c1) photographed by a left rear camera 3 having an angle of a view 413 is extracted as an effective rear image for an overlap area 422(b) between a left rear camera photographic area and the dead angle area caused by the bus 402, and an image (c3) photographed by a right rear camera 4 having an angle of a view 414 is extracted as an effective rear image for an overlap part 423(b) between the left rear camera photographic area and the dead angle area caused by the bus 402.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
