PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and inexpensively producing iron fine particles, which is suitable for mass production as well, and to provide the iron fine particles superior in magnetic characteristics.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the iron fine particles comprises the steps of: making hydrogen molecules contact with a heated catalyst to produce hydrogen atoms; and reducing the ferrite fine particles by using the hydrogen atoms. The iron fine particles superior in the magnetic characteristics is obtained by imparting magnetism to the iron fine particles obtained through the above method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
