PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack pinion mechanism with a small number of components and a simple structure capable of reducing vibration of a rack and noise due to the vibration and operating quietly.;SOLUTION: The rack pinion mechanism (10) is equipped with the rack (1), the pinion (2) engaged with the rack (1), a guiding means (3) for slidably supporting the rack (1), and a pressurizing means (11) attachably/detachably provided to a back face (1c) of the rack (1) for pressurizing the rack (1) in the direction approaching the pinion (2).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
