PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a refractory molded product for being mounted in a plate glass molding apparatus that is used for a long period of time and molded highly precisely even when it has complicated shape and a refractory molded body, and a method for molding plate glass by an apparatus in which this refractory molded product is mounted and plate glass obtained by this method.;SOLUTION: The method for molding a refractory molded product 10 for being mounted in a plate glass molding apparatus is provided in which there is, by casting, fabricated the refractory molded product 10 having, on its top portion, a trough-shaped molten glass-supplying groove 10a of which the upper portion is opened, both sidewall top edges 10b as an overflow weir, and both sidewall external surfaces 10c terminated at a lower end 10d so as to have a cross sectional surface of substantially wedge shape, wherein the refractory molded product 10 for being mounted in a plate glass molding apparatus has a dimension of 1,500 mm or more in the long length direction of the refractory molded product 10. The method for molding a glass plate comprises supplying alkali-free glass into the refractory molded product 10, and adjusting heating and cooling conditions or the like so that the thickness dimension of the plate glass becomes a predetermined thickness of 0.7 mm or less, thereby molding the plate glass.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
