PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pigment fine particle having a sharp peak of particle size distribution of nanosize and an isoindoline structure, to provide a method for producing the same, to obtain a pigment fine particle exhibiting an excellent display property when used in a color filter and having an isoindoline structure, to provide a method for producing the same, to obtain a color filter having an objective color purity and a high contrast, exhibiting excellent image display properties by using the pigment fine particle having an isoindoline structure and a display using the color filter.;SOLUTION: The method for producing a pigment fine particle having an isoindoline structure comprises mixing a pigment solution obtained by dissolving pigment having an isoindoline structure in a good solvent with a solvent which has compatibility with the good solvent and is a poor solvent to the pigment to form pigment having an isoindoline structure as the pigment fine particle of nanosize.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
