PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prevent displacement of a planographic printing plate on a pallet and to suppress occurrence of deficiencies relating to plate feeding in an automatic platemaking machine having an automatic plate feeding mechanism that feeds a plurality of planographic printing plates mounted on a pallet, one piece by one piece.;SOLUTION: The positioning method for a planographic printing plate is carried out in a automatic platemaking machine equipped with an automatic plate feeding mechanism that feeds a plurality of planographic printing plates mounted on a pallet, one piece by one piece, wherein the automatic plate feeding mechanism sucks at least each planographic printing plate and is equipped with one or more position regulating means that relatively vertically moves according to the number of residual planographic printing plates on the pallet and can expand or contract around the mount position of the planographic printing plate and in a vertical direction toward the pallet or the automatic plate feeding mechanism.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
