PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To watch heat generation, easily discharge RDF (refuge-derived fuel), assure cause and location of heat generation and temporarily cool the location of heat generation and prevent heat accumulation and heat generation in advance.;SOLUTION: Gas sampling ports 7 for sucking and sampling the gas in an RDF space stored in an open pit are installed on two or more spots of the bottom surface 2. Sequentially sampled gas samples are introduced to a metering control device 5 by a gas sampling pipe 3 through an opening and closing valve 4. Components and/or temperature of the introduced gas sample are brought to be sequentially measured at each sampling port. A gas blower 8 is installed in connection with the gas sampling pipe 3 and, when the location of heat generation of refuge-derived solid fuel is pinpointed, the sampling is stopped and nitrogen gas is introduced through the gas sampling pipe 3 to the pinpointed spot.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
