PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the transfer properties or storage properties of an ion exchange resin. PSOLUTION: A used granular ion-exchange resin, taken out of a decontamination unit or a condensate demineralizer used in a nuclear power station, is received by a processing tank having a jacket 20 through which cooling water circulates. The used ion-exchange resin is stirred by a stirrer 15, emulsified by an emulsifying dispersion unit 14 and pulverized. The emulsified ion-exchange resin is reintroduced into the processing tank 12 through a reintroduction pipe 23, as necessary.
