PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifetime prediction monitoring device capable of improving reliability of a countermeasure wherein fault generation of a power source is perceived beforehand and preventive exchange of a component is performed.;SOLUTION: A current-carrying time to a component for discriminating the lifetime of an apparatus is counted by a counting means. The lifetime of the apparatus is predicted by a prediction means based on an integrated current-carrying time integrated by the counting means and the lifetime carried by the component. The effective operation state of the apparatus is monitored by a monitoring means based on a prediction signal outputted from a lifetime prediction means. The counting means and the lifetime prediction means are provided respectively on a fan having a short lifetime and the component having a long lifetime, and the lifetime prediction means predicts the lifetime of the apparatus based on information on the fan having a short lifetime and the component having a long lifetime.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
