PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which can easily be rewritten from outside without fitting a large-scale device to the display device, and a document file managing device and a personal digital assistant using the same display device.;SOLUTION: The display device is equipped with a signal transmitting and receiving means 22 of receiving a reception signal including a write command and transmitting a transmittance signal including display contents according to a readout command, a power generating means 21 of generating electric power from an electromagnetic wave conveying the reception signal, and a display means 12 of displaying the display contents based upon the reception signal. The electric power is supplied to the signal transmitting and receiving means 22 by the electric power generating means 21.
