PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card use environment that enables quick countermeasures against unauthorized use. PSOLUTION: When a card 3 is used, one of card reading devices 4a to 4f sends information to a card center 6c. The card center 6c searches a customer information database on card ID for a telephone number and a mail address, then calls a user portable terminal 2 for card use confirmation, and stores the use status of the card in a use status database. If the card use is not authorized, the card center 6c is called via a callback function based on the call history. When called from the user portable terminal 2, the card center 6c searches the use status database on the telephone number for the card use status and card ID.
