METHOD OF DETERMINING MINIMAL DIMENSION OF PERSONAL COMPUTER MAIN BODY AND PERSONAL COMPUTER MAIN BODY TO WHICH THE METHOD IS APPLIED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a minimal personal computer main body by arranging various electronic elements and peripheral equipment in the personal computer main body.;SOLUTION: In the method for determining minimal dimension of the personal computer main body and the personal computer to which the method is applied, length and width of the personal computer main body are defined by arranging an optical disk device and a heat dissipation device in parallel and height of the personal computer main body is defined by a column of the optical disk device and the highest electronic elements. Furthermore, arrangement relation of each electronic element on a main board, arrangement relation between the main board and the optical disk device and the heat dissipation device are determined by size relation of the length, width and height and thus, the optimal design for minimizing the dimension of the personal computer main body is obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
