PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trough which can be spigot jointed to an adjacent trough by cutting the trough into a required length even for a section shorter than the length of the trough.;SOLUTION: The trough has a narrow and shallow part 32 on one longitudinal end side, and a wide and deep part 34 on the other end side. The outer surface spacing S1 of sidewalls of the narrow and shallow part 32 is narrower than the inner surface spacing S2 of sidewalls of the wide and deep part 34, and the depth D1 of the narrow and shallow part 32 is shallower by the thickness portion of the bottom 12 than the depth D2 of the wide and deep part 34. The end part outer surface of each sidewall 14 of the narrow and shallow part 32 is formed with an outward projecting edge 36, and the inner surface of each sidewall of the wide and deep part 34 is formed with a plurality of inward projecting edges 38. The outer surface spacing S3 of the outward projecting edges 36 is set wider than the inner surface spacing S4 of the inward projecting edges 38 and narrower than the inner surface spacing S2 of the sidewalls 14 of the wide and deep part 34, and the inner surface spacing S4 of the inward projecting edges 38 is set wider than the outer surface spacing S1 of the sidewalls of the narrow and shallow part 32. The trough is used cut at the side of the inward projecting edges 38 to have the required length.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
