PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold cathode fluorescent lamp apparatus easily lighting and having little leak current. PSOLUTION: A cold cathode fluorescent lamp 10 is provided with an internal electrode 17c and an internal electrode 17d disposed on an inner face, and an external electrode 18a and an external electrode 18b disposed on the outer face side. The internal electrode 17c and the internal electrode 17d are driven by a DC driving circuit 22, and the magnitude of a current is controlled by a constant current circuit 23.
