PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of evaluating degradation degree of a concrete surface section or progress prediction of the degradation, in performing design and maintenance about the durability of a concrete structure in a cold district.;SOLUTION: Regarding concrete suffering from a freezing and fusing action, a tensile strength testing method of the concrete surface section according to the patent 2121279 is performed, the state when the tensile strength of any depth decreases by 50%±5% comparing that before the freezing and fusing action is determined as a degradation state of the concrete, and the degradation depth due to frost damage is determined. The relation between the degradation depth due to frost damage of the concrete surface section and the cycle number of freezing and fusing is approximated by a linear expression, and the degradation progress is predicted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
