METHOD OF CONTROLLING ALTERNATING VOLTAGE IN ELECTRIC POWER SYSTEM BY POWER CONVERTER OR REACTIVE POWER COMPENSATOR

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain alternating voltage control characteristics which matches needs of an electric power system. PSOLUTION: A method of controlling an alternating voltage in the electric power system is operated by a power converter, which regulates the magnitude of the alternating voltage by the input or output of reactive power, or a reactive power compensator. In this alternating voltage control method, a voltage deviation between the voltage detection value and a voltage command value of the electric power system is input to a first ordered lag circuit which is provided with an upper limiter or a lower limiter of the first order lag circuit as an upper limit value or a lower limit value. An output signal of this first order lag circuit is input to an alternating voltage control circuit which includes proportional-integral circuits and operates so as to bring the voltage deviation close to zero. Thus, this output of the alternating voltage control circuit can regulate an input/output of the reactive power into/from the electric power system and feedback-control the magnitude of the alternating voltage.
